Friendly and helpful

We felt the property was nicely laid out and had everything we were looking for in a vacation rental.

Agency is excellent to deal with. Please note that Justin at 'On The Water' was very responsive, helpful and professional with regard to the the barking dogs issue.

Setting for this property is peaceful, the view is absolutely beautiful and overlooks the ocean with Norton island to the left. We enjoyed the sound of the water lapping against the rocks below. This house has big generous rooms throughout. The top floor has plenty of windows letting in the light and features ocean views from both the living room, dining room and loft. The first floor has 3 large bedrooms (2 with ocean views), and beds are comfortable. If additional sleeping space is needed, there is a bonus of a large loft area above the living room furnished with a couple of futons.

Everyone we had contact with was pleasant and helpful.

The cottage was inviting and the view spectacular. The location is great - lovely, quiet setting yet close to all Boothbay Harbor has to offer. We appreciated the pleasant decor, the wi fi connection and the well equipped kitchen. The grounds and garden areas are inviting. Pine Cliff Cottage is well equipped and comfortable for a multi generational family get together.

Booking and payment were very easy. Communications were throrough.

Maitri house is a lovely home in a picturesque lakefront setting. The house is very well-appointed and comfortable for a large family or two families.

Working with On the Water in Maine is a pleasure. Have rented with others but it was not as nice.

The house was perfect, rented many homes in Maine but this was by far the best. Location is great the view was perfect. Private but close to everything. House was very clean and well stocked.

This lovely carriage house has a fireplace which is a requirement for us. As well, it is only a few steps to town where we enjoy shopping at the corner market for a quick breakfast or lunch; or simply sharing a meal at one of the many good restaurants! Constance Rhodes

Everyone at On the Water in Maine were so helpful. Anytime I had a question on what activities we could do with the kids, to where should we eat, they were quick to respond with a long list of suggestions. They made the rental process so easy.

Baybreeze is a beautiful house. Our kids loved the space, the backyard, and the beach. The kitchen was amazing.

Wonderful experience!! the cottage was beautiful and great to cook in. my husband is a chef and really enjoyed how open the kitchen was, And as far as me I just loved everything!! We are coming back!!

Lower deck overlooking the bay.. Just stunning!!! The view was a 10+ Great house.. Comfortable and clean.. Hated to leave We'll be back next year.

A wonderful experience all around!

The property was the perfect location in Camden and we felt very lucky to be staying in such a unique home. The house has panoramic ocean views and has a very cozy living room with a large fireplace. We loved having our own private beach to launch kayaks and build fires in the evening.

Every experience with working with "On the Water in Maine" organization was excellent. the staff was very friendly and informative when we were making our initial plans, the information provided prior to arrival was descriptive and clear (in every case, we received communications on the exact day that the Agency had committed to - this has not been our consistent experience with other properties and agencies). Additionally, the Property Information Book was very clear and, during our stay, the staff was very responsive to questions and requests. Overall, we evaluate the support and organization as very friendly, efficient, and professional.

We have rented vacation houses in Camden for about 15 of the last 17 years. Some of our rentals have been better than others, but with this background, our family rates "Head of the Harbor" as our best rental ever. The primary reasons for this evaluation are: spacious, comfortable, clean, very well-equipped, dedicated off-street parking, and an outstanding location close to the library, downtown, restaurants, etc. With four adults and one seven year-old Grandson, we made full use of the three bedrooms (and three bathrooms) and washer/dryer, but never felt cramped. Additionally, the porch was very comfortable and convenient for either a morning cup of coffee or just looking at the harbor. Bottom Line - the entire family loved Head of the Harbor and, depending on our schedules, intend to stay there again.

Staff at On the Water in Maine was wonderful and a joy to work with!

The cottage was beyond our expectations. We came to relax and de-stress. Immediately after our arrival the scenery alone melted all the stress away. We enjoyed the weather, the view and watching nature all around us: loons, ospreys, harbor seals, and adorable squirrels that kept us entertained.

Always a pleasure to do business with OTW! Staff is always kind, courteous, and prompt. The website is easy to navigate, and there are numerous beautiful properties to choose from. The entire process is smooth and all the information you need is provided.

We love this house! It is spacious, filled with natural light, and very comfortable. The grounds and gardens are lovely and the setting offers total privacy. The home is well stocked, the linens fresh and luxurious, the huge kitchen a joy to cook in. There is ample space to be together as a group and not feel crowded, and numerous places to read, relax, and have personal time when you need/want it. The location is perfect -- close to Camden and Rockland to the south; close to Lincolnville and Belfast to the north.

Very professional. Kept in touch with emails and made things easy.

Beautiful property and view. Photos depict the house exactly as it is. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. Grill worked great. Some doors stick and are hard to lock but we figured it out. We would highly recommend this property. More seating in living room would be nice because more than 5 people (and that's a stretch as it is) cannot all fit at once.

The ease of communicating with everyone at On the Water made our vacation better. We knew we would be taken care of immediately had there been problems. The rental system there is better than other organizations I've worked with in other states. Thanks, Justin, for the phone calls and Meg for the emails.

This cottage is in a wonderful, central setting at the tip of Port Clyde. We ate at the General Store every day, got coffee at Squid Ink next to it, and had a choice whether to watch boats from the public dock there or at the co-op dock (part of the rental) at the other side of the house. The sunsets at the co-op dock were fabulous! Several locals had been inside our cottage in earlier years and said it's got a reputation for its charm and dcor. I'm glad the owner trusts renters with the great antiques inside. Plenty of cooking tools and dishes to work with, and the lobster pot worked great.

On the Water in Maine was extremely responsive, helpful, reasonable, and a pleasure to work with.

Everything was great. We loved the house and grew very attached to the view. The kitchen was well supplied and pleasant to work in. There were so many places from which to enjoy the view of the water--the main room, the sun room, the deck, the hillside with the fire pit, the dock, and of course on the water itself! We'd gladly come back here.

OTWIM was easy to deal with

Great Location. Clean cottage with wonderful deck overlooking the river. We had a great time kayaking, biking, hiking and enjoying cocktails on the deck. Walking distance to cute village w nice dining options.
