Everything was great! Easy to work with,friendly,honest.

Loved the kitchen/dining area the most, it was where we all 6 congregated. The view was great! Had hoped to spend some time out on the deck and waterfront, enjoying s'mores, but never got home early enough, or it was raining. Loved the decor ... lots of interesting wall hangings, etc.!

On the Water in Maine was a pleasure to deal with. They were informative and professional. They were quick to take care of any issues we had while we were there for the week.

Juniper Bank is a wonderful home to spend some time in. The views of the water are amazing! Every morning my sister and I got up early to watch the sunrise over the water. Just spectacular! The house is spacious and its really nice to have several living areas to enjoy. The kitchen is very well stocked and everything you need for cooking meals is there. The house is located in a quiet residential area and we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area.

We didn't rent through you, but we found your suggestions for day trips in the property book very useful -- really enjoyed the Young Lobster Pound as well as other restaurants you mentioned.

We stayed at Our Song for 6 days the end of September. It was a wonderful experience. We loved the cottage and the location -- we could enjoy the lake and peacefulness of the lakeside as well as easily reach all the interesting sites on the ocean. We lucked into gorgeous September weather which made kayaking and canoeing fun -- I even swam to the raft -- and had the added attraction of changing leaves. Everything about the cottage was 5 star. It is decorated beautifully down to the smallest detail -- but still very homey and comfortable. They have everything you could possibly want in terms of housewares (we enjoyed the barbecue as well) and in terms of outdoor equipment -- bikes, kayaks, a canoe, etc. Many different places to sit and hangout outdoors as well. I can't imagine a better way to enjoy Maine.

I have to say, I have rented at least 1 - 2 vacation homes every year, and by far, On The Water in Maine was the best I have ever dealt with! They were so accommodating, as were the owners to our needs. Anything I needed, they jumped to help with. I would definitely use them again when we come back to Maine as well as recommend them to anyone I know traveling to Maine.

Rip's View was amazing!!! As soon as we pulled into the driveway and saw how gorgeous the location was, we knew it was going to be heaven for the week!! And once you walked inside, you couldn't help but feel like you were home. It was very cozy. It was nice to wake up to the trees blowing and the water below every morning.

Cute house, more than adequately appointed and furnished. ..accessibility to Rockland and the peninsula as well as Friendship, Cushing and nearby towns make it especially desirable.

Chestnut Cottage is beautiful. The furnishings and decor are very comfortable and relaxing. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck for coffee in the mornings. We cooked out on the grill on two evenings during our stay. Those were two of our favorite meals. The property included everything we could have needed for our stay...all you need are your personal items and food.

Lakeside Lilly's was located on a quiet pond on a quiet dead end road, this is exactly what we were looking for. The house was spacious and had been updated, yet retained its "campy" feel. The property was very clean and comfortable.

Very impressive - we were treated like family. Ben was great taking care of things for us and very punctual.

We where looking for a quiet place on the sea and we were very happy with this place directly on the waterfront. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We had a wonderful week there and we can recommend it to everybody.

Smooth working experience. Enjoyed all the details provided before and during our stay. No surprises and we like that.

The location was perfect. Our favorite feature of the house is the porch, and we enjoyed taking in the view of the harbor every day. We also loved being able to walk to the General Store, The Dip Net, for lobsters or to take the Laura B to Monhegan. This is concerning the TV......while we understand the owners probably aren't big TV watchers, it sure was uncomfortable to sit on hard dining room chairs to watch it. I would imagine most guests would prefer the TV be in the front room where there are overstuffed chairs. I preferred to watch the harbor view, but my husband preferred TV.....even on hard chairs!!!!

Working with the office through e-mail is efficient and easy. Working with Ben on the few problems during our stay has been very pleasent.

The location of Bay Breeze is wonderful; private, quiet, and on the ocean. The house is superior to any rental we have ever utilized.

I cannot say enough about how nice it was to rent through On the Water in Maine. I have rented many homes, and this agency was by far the best to work with. The caretaker of the homes, Ben was great. He answered immediately when we had a question, and was right there if we needed anything.

We stayed at 40 Sea Street for the Camden Film Festival. There were 4 of us, and we all enjoyed the house very much. It is a short walk into town, so no need of a car into Camden. The kitchen was perfect for us, cooking meals at home. There is a large table to eat, and plenty of room to relax in the living room and porch. The only down side was the small bunk bed room. The two women who shared that room were not that comfortable. I think the house is perfect for two couples, and children in the bunk room, but not adults in that room. The King and Queen bedrooms were very comfortable. We had one bathroom, but worked that out fine. Everything you could want was there, and we would definitely rent this house again.

Atlantic Sunrise is an top notch,lovely and comfortable home in a setting that takes your breath away from sunrise, high and low tide to stargazing.
