The cottage has been updated with a new entrance, new bathroom fixtures on the first floor, and new flooring. It appears bright and cheery. We enjoyed the new game table! There are many improvements to an already wonderful cottage. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. We love the "old time" feel of the cottage, along with the modern conveniences of a laundry and dishwasher. It is ideal for a big family like ours.

It is a very we'll run family business, very dependable, accommodating, and always there when you need them . If I had a home to rent I would want them to handle it.

This is the first house we rented and have been going back for five years! Love Weeks End!

We loved the cottage. It was so quiet and peaceful, but also within a reasonable drive to many of our favorite places in Maine. Really liked the way the cottage was updated with brand new bathroom and kitchen but without losing the feel of an old Maine camp.

On the Water in Maine is easy to work with, thoroughly professional and works very hard to ensure its guests have a wonderful time. If there is a better agency somewhere, I would be amazed.

This was our third stay at Split Rock, and we love it more than ever. The list of superlatives is too long to mention-- just let it be known that if you have friends and family to entertain, everyone will have a grand time. You can toss rocks into the water, chase geese, build a fairy house, enjoy the gardens-- or just sit back and marvel.

Our experience was good overall working with On the Water in the Maine. The expectations and requirements were laid out from the get go and your company was very straightforward. I very much appreciated all of the emails prior to our stay. They were all very informative.

Beehive Cottage - The view is absolutely spectacular just stunning. We LOVED being in this cottage as much as possible so that we could enjoy the views from the family room and atop the deck off of the master bedroom. I woke many mornings to watch the sunrise from the deck. Just magnificent! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the basement. The ping pong table was a huge hit!

Agency was easy to deal with- no issues at all.

It was exactly what I was looking for and what I expected. Secluded location, peaceful, easy access to water, all the basic amenities needed to live comfortably for a week.

No problems -- great communicators.

Great cottage! The kitchen is well stocked with ordinary essentials -- salt, pepper, sugar, seasonings, coffee, etc. -- and completely stocked with pots, pans, silverware, knives, plates, and glasses, even martini glasses. The location and layout is perfect fot two couples or a large family. Location is perfect with access to private western facing dock and 300 feet to the General Store, Dip Net restaurant, and the " Barn" -- don't miss it.

On the Water in Maine, Inc. makes every step effortless for the renter. Everyone I have worked with is thorough, knowledgeable and polite. The level of detail and transparency that this company provides is really appreciated, there are never any surprises when you get to your vacation property.

This property was beautiful inside and out. The house was airy and bright with beautiful views of the water and the extensive gardens.

Simple and buttoned up - not much more that I can say! I didn't have much interaction during our stay (other than check-in and check-out) as everything was perfect.

We had an all around incredible vacation, and our rental home played an integral role. The house's greatest asset is it's incredible view of Clam Cove and access to the private beach. My Wife - and by default, me - are avid seaglass collectors and we found some epic pieces on our beach. The location of the home was so close to Rockland, Rockport and Camden that we were never at a loss for fun things to do. And we were right down the road from Maine Meats and Fresh From the Farm - so we always had amazing ingredients right at our fingertips.

Marshall Point cottage has spectacular views, we fell in love with Port Clyde and the area in general.

We had trouble with the TV remote - a rep drove out 30 min after we called and took care of what turned out to be a simple fix. Really good service from On the Water in Maine.

Ledgelawn's appeal is the location, deep water dock, and pool - coupled with its ability to get both of our families together in one house (sleeps 14) we had 10, and almost all the kids got there own room. Although on the water at Maine doesn't rent boats to this area (salt water near inlet) we did have a boat for the week- and that was by far the highlight of the trip. Being able to walk out on the dock and get on the boat, Tavel to Booth bay, down the River, and around all the islands. The sunset is priceless at this property.

Great view of the harbor, convenient walking distance to village though nice to be away from the "fray" of town. Nice open feeling in common room.

We've rented through the On the Water in Maine agency three times and the experience has always been top notch. We've found the properties to be well maintained and the staff has always been quick to remedy any issues or concerns.

The Jewel is a well maintained, spacious house. We enjoyed the large porch, the fire pit and the small beach across the street. The master bedroom is especially large, with a great view of the bay and Spruce Head Island.

Everything went very smoothly. We appreciate all the communication. Some minor issues in the house the first day were handled very quickly.

On the Water In Maine is a very thorough and well-organized agency. We enjoyed their quick replies to our queries as well as their heads-up re Saturday traffic on Rt 1 around Wiscasset which allowed us to not get stuck when leaving. We will absolutely turn to On the Water in Maine next time we think of vacationing in Maine.

The Cape McKay Cottage in Boothbay Harbor was a most welcoming home to stay in. It felt like a real home with comfortable furniture and beds. Everything we could want in the kitchen, living area, bedrooms, incl. flashlights in every room for emergencies, was there. We also enjoyed the abundance of informative and interesting books and brochures and a variety of music CD's. The second floor deck with a view of the harbor was wonderful.

ON THE WHOLE, WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH EFFICIENCY OF DOING BUSINESS WITH ON THE WATER IN MAINE.

WE VERY MUCH ENJOYED OUR STAY AT SEASIDE. THE UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW TOWARD ROCKLAND HARBOR IS A BIG PLUS FOR THIS PROPERTY. IT'S CONVENIENT TO ROCKLAND, YET VERY QUIET - HARD TO BEAT!

OTWM exceeded my expectations. They were attentive and accessible, focused on our enjoyment of our vacation as much as the property itself.

The interior of the property is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The cottage includes all the kitchen things you are likely to need. The house is sited on a point overlooking the water. The views are great.

Any problems or issues we had were dealt with promptly.

It was important to us that the Waterside Retreat be clean and everything was in working order upon our arrival. On The Water in Maine made this happen. Our stay was perfect!
