We really enjoyed the stay at Shimmering Tides! Excellent location, very peaceful. We loved the location overlooking the river - it was beautiful, peaceful. Nice big rooms in house and nice big kitchen for cooking.

The overall experience was excellent. Ben at On the Water in Maine was great to work with. We will definitely be looking to rent from On the Water in Maine again. The most obvious favorite feature of the property for us was the access to the beautiful lake! We really enjoyed the dock and especially the swim dock. We really liked the outdoor seating options on the wrap around deck. The home was beautiful and in excellent shape. The bathrooms were modern and clean. The property provided all the comforts required for a relaxing stay on a beautiful lake!

White Pines is a beautiful property which we truly enjoyed. We loved the lake access and how close we were to the things we wanted to do. We did think that the downstairs rooms could use more light. The home was comfortable; we enjoyed being both inside and outside of it. Thanks!

We were completely stunned by the beauty of the Summer Wind Property and the view from the living room. I want your kitchen! We brought my mom with us on vacation and I am pretty sure she plans on going back with her friends. Well done.

Our two-week vacation at your Ginn Point cottage, blessed with spectacular weather, was a lovely experience again for us this August. We loved the seclusion of propert, spectacular view, charming old cottage ambience and proximity to Rockland attractions.

I spoke with Justin at On the Water in Maine upon check in and he was fantastic - super friendly and really wanted us to enjoy our stay! We received a message from Emily at On the Water in Maine (I believe that was her name) the day before check out reminding us to follow the departure checklist, which was a nice touch & a great reminder! As far as the house goes - On Hobbs Pond had a dock that was great for swimming & fishing. My daughter loved how shallow the water was! The covered porch was my favorite, though - I enjoyed sitting out in the quiet of the earning morning with my coffee, listening to the call of the loons.

Everyone at On the Water in Maine was professional and helpful.

For a second time, we tremendously enjoyed our stay. Our granddaughters loved Reilly and Minnie (and their parents, Jim and Lori). The neighbors in the other direction were a bit noisy at times, but not a huge problem. The cottage is extremely comfortable and clean. We loved The quiet lake. The deck and the easy view to the dock area; made it easy to keep an eye on the kids. The MBR loft: a great get-a-way! Pool table! Easy laundry. Basement bathroom so the kids didn't have to go through the house wet. We appreciate the great condition of the roadway leading to the cottage. A beautiful place to walk. We booked late and were concerned the last week of August would be more fall-like than summer-like, but we had perfect weather for swimming, kayaking, walking, and sleeping. We loved that there was a hint of Autumn in the air at times.

Our family loves Canns Beach Cottage! Our favorite part is the incredible lovely view, and a short walk to sandy Crockett's Beach. This is the 2nd year that we have stayed for our family reunion. The new furniture in the basement is comfy and the additional sofas and chairs in the main living area are too and really a plus for gatherings or so we can just spread out and relax. The open spaces on the floor and the extra table let the cousins play boardgames and we are always mesmerized by looking out the windows at the view. We had a fire down by the rocks a couple of nights, cooked marshmallows and sang our sing-alongs. Your house is a treasure filled with warmth and love! We hope it is available for our next reunion. A brighter light at the bottom of the deck steps would help us older folks. Thank you so much!

We loved the open design of the home, with views of the lake on all sides. The screened in porch was also a favorite hangout of ours, where we could sit at night (to avoid the mosquitoes), or in the morning watching the lake. The property itself was lovely - right off the dirt road, you found yourself in this clearing surrounded by trees, with a pathway leading down to your own semi-private lake. With very little boat traffic while we were there, our swims were heavenly on the glassy smooth water. We liked the fact that the house was modern but rustic at the same time, and the same went for the property. Just enough was cleared, but there was still a forest feeling to it. We have been coming up to Maine for years. Initially, we stayed in cottages in the Naples, Long Lake area, but once our daughters finished their overnight camping days, we decided to explore more of Maine. We've been trying to find an area that has both the great lake experience (not too large, for swimming purposes, but large enough for small boating and fishing) and access to golf, good restaurants and shops, walking trails and the ocean (for my daily lobster needs -haha!). We loved this area, with its closeness to Belfast, Camden and Rockport.

On the Water in Maine was helpful in getting a hot water situation worked out. We loved the great location on the water with great views. Can put in kayaks right from the beach, can build fire on the beach in the evening. The main bathroom is large, which is nice for larger groups.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Wiley Neck House and hope we were good neighbors. My children and older grandkids loved the dock and float and were in the water almost every day. The needlework and quilting are beautiful. The arrangement of the rooms (some bedrooms up and some down) gave everyone plenty of space. The dock and float were great for water sports.

You got a good team at On the Water in Maine. A pleasure working with you all. The yard was nice for volleyball and backyard fun. Good time.

Thank you very much for a good time. Apparently the cleanup crew found two cracked tiles upon our departure. I did not notice the broken tiles while there. Emily at On the Water in Maine was so sweet and very helpful. The outside shower at the main house is FANTASTIC! The lower deck with the chairs was a great place for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon. The house is very private despite having neighbors on both sides. The dock/view were really great. The floors needed to be better swept, and there were cobwebs around drapes and between furniture and the walls. "On the Water" was very receptive of our concerns about this though, and we appreciated that very much. They offered to have the cleaners come back (we declined) but they did give us a nice restaurant gift card (Thank you)! This house had everything we needed(except for kayaks) and we had a WONDERFUL TIME! We would definitely return to this location again. It would be a great place to have a large family gathering with the beautiful barn right across the street. We did not use the barn, but it looked lovely too.We also rented kayaks through Tidal Transit- and that was great too.

It really has everything you need for a relaxing and perfect Maine vacation - the screened in porch and the large float out on the pond were great additions!
