Comfortable, relaxing, serene environment. Great for a family getaway. Loved swimming out to the raft with our 8, 7 and 4 year olds. Kids loved exploring Crawford Pond in the canoe and two kayaks, seeking out those elusive loons in the early morning!

The loon landing property was fantastic with a secluded feeling without being in the wilderness. The buildings were new and well maintained with huge windows to view the gorgeous scenery. The property is well situated near the coast and had a perfect location for watching nice summer sunsets. The lake was pristine and perfect for kayaking and loon/eagle watching. It was a charming experience all around.

The location of this property was ideal for our visit Acadia National Park.There is a quiet solitude and a perfect access to the beach....a definite plus after a day of hiking and sightseeing.Searsport is a very charming small coastal town.On rainy days we visited the Owls Head museums and the Penobscot Museum and the shops in Camden and Bar Harbor.The bathroom is small but adequate with only a small shower.

The entire process of renting with On the Water in Maine was very simple. Everything was explained to us in emails and the staff answered questions promptly.

The property was right on the water and had a deck with gates which were very useful. The property allowed easy access to the water and beautiful views especially at sunset. The property was small but very functional. The only thing that would have improved our experience is if the property had laundry facilities. A dryer would have been very useful.

Everyone at the agency was very friendly and seemed dedicated to being sure the renter was happy. Justin in particular was very thorough and provided good assistance and detail.

The Jones Cottage is darling! The decor is lovely--simple, soothing colors that complement and enhance the spectacular views. The porch, with its glider bench and numerous rocking chairs, was a delightful place to enjoy the breeze and to watch the boats. The family room was spacious with lots of seating variety and cozy blankets to snuggle under during the cool evenings. The walk down to the dock was great exercise and it was fantastic to be able to go down and enjoy the cool breeze right off the water.

What a wonderful spacious place to stay. The views are breathtaking and only a short walk to the amazing town of Camden. Quiet, quaint and worth visiting.

I can't say enough about the property On the Rocks. It had breathtaking views and was such a peaceful place to stay. I loved that the house has remained the same with the interior. My mom who passed away three years a go would have loved this home. I felt such at peace in this home that I can't explain. I will definitely be renting this home again.

Very easy to get a hold of someone for any reason at all. On the Water in Maine were very helpful and provided all necessary information.

Great location, close to the beach. The kids had fun throwing rocks in the water, a small, friendly community. Even the basketballs are supplied in the park! Lots of cookware supplied, even plastic containers to store leftovers. The rooms are setup it what seems to be the attic. Although it is quite cute to see the roof beams, it also means the wall do not go all the way up to the ceiling. So if one person has the light on in their room, the others also see it. It wasn't very convenient in our case as we were travelling with a teenager and some younger children. Also meant the baby disturbed everyone else when he woke up at night. Everything else exceeded our expectations, that is the only downside to our stay.

Loved our house. Loved the balcony that spanned the length of the house. Beautiful view of the lake. Everything about the house made us feel at home.

Very simple and easy to work with On the Water in Maine!

A very relaxing cottage, with beautiful landscaping. Very welcoming. The spacious living room and screened in porch provide plenty of places to relax, safe from bugs and weather. We love that our children can explore the lovely little town. We like sitting on the dock at sunset.

Very well organized clear instructions makes makes things very easy for both the renter and the property owner.

We had an absolutely perfect week at Juniper Bank. The lupines were in bloom and every day was clear and sunny. We loved the views from the house - the best of all the rentals we've had - and the easy access to the water was a big plus. We spent hours hunting sea glass as we watched the lobster boats motor to and from Owls Head harbor, just around the bend. The house itself is beautifully decorated and the rooms are bright and sunny. We also enjoyed all of the original artwork on the walls.

The Lincoln Lookout was amazing from the moment we stepped into the house we felt at home. It was so well kept and had with everything we needed. The views wow amazing.

The staff was very efficient in dealing with our reservations, providing directions and instructions, and helping when we wanted to modify our departure date so we could stay a few extra days.

MaryLea Cottage is a wonderful home and property. The location is idyllic, with beautiful views of Rockport Harbor, and it is right next to the walking trail along Beauchamp Point. The house is rustic and is filled with music-loving family history. It has a comfortable dining room, a living room with a picture window overlooking the harbor and a wraparound porch, including a screened-in part where we ate dinner by candelight most evenings. We loved the camp-style pathways leading down to the boathouse deck where we watched the sailboats go by. We feel fortunate to have had the chance to stay in such a beautiful place. The downstairs bedroom suite felt a little "damp" one evening when the humidity was very high - otherwise everything was quite comfortable.

Our experience with On the Water in Maine was so pleasant. You made everything so easy and enjoyable. The directions took us directly to our cabin. We did not want to leave.

This place is heaven on earth. Absolutely the most peaceful place we have ever been. All you can hear is nature. The view from the window is beautiful. We loved everything about this place. We caught fish right from our pier and also could swim in the clean, clear water.
