Perfectly lovely location and views. The master bedroom and bath were great. We also enjoyed the piano, the hot tub and access to the beach.

The agency is attentive and helpful, providing ample information ahead of the stay and at the property itself.

We had our second, lovely stay at Rosehill Cottage. The house is comfortable and charming and works well for a family of four. The deck is one of our favorite features and we really appreciated the new outdoor table and chairs, allowing us to eat outside each night. The yard is gorgeous with the meadow and wildflowers and our kids spent hours playing frisbee and catch outside. The nearby crescent beach is a treasure and keeps us coming back to Owls Head each year.

As always, working with On the Water in Maine was so simple, straight forward, efficient and the staff friendly and helpful.

This was our second time staying at A Stone's Throw and it was simply wonderful. The house was comfortable and well stocked with all the comforts of home. The large yard was great for the kids to run and play. We loved swimmimg on the pebble beach at high tide. The porch and Rockland harbour views were the very best part.

Having rented through the 'giant' vacation rental websites before, we were so much happier and pleased with the personal, one-on-one approach with On The Water. I was struck with the levels and thoroughness of communication. The staff were always friendly and truly glad to be of service.

Our stay at Cannes Beach Cottage was the highlight of our year. It was a beautiful location, clean as a "pin", well "outfitted" for all our needs. We were dumbstruck at the windows overlooking the water, island and beach/harbor. The shade trees all around helped reduce the glare and heat. We loved the furnishings - ample and spotless. Having two eating areas was a plus. Everything was fantastic.

On the Water was very helpful during our vacation rental. We specifically dealt with Kelsey. We very much wanted to rent Rushing Tides during a specific week that wasn't completely available due to the Labor Day holiday and the owners wanting to enjoy their property. With some phone calls and the owners agreeing, Kelsey made it happen. Emails kept us informed throughout the process. Check in and check out was easy and it was nice to have the "Information Book" handy at the house for any questions we had. We would happily rent though On the Water again!

We enjoyed our stay at Rushing Tides from the moment we entered the property. It felt like home and was absolutely beautiful. We loved that it sets on a semi-private, spacious lot with a fun view of the North End Lobster Co-Op lobster men hauling in their traps each day. We watched them every morning from either the comfortable deck or better yet, from the dock. Another perk - the Co-Op is a short walk down the road where we purchased our dinner often. The kitchen at Rushing Tides was well stocked with all the gadgets needed to make wonderful meals while making great memories. We enjoyed both the fire pit outside and the beautiful fire place inside after our dinners. At night, the bedrooms were perfect with comfortable beds and so nice to each have a private bathroom. The location of Rushing Tides is super. Minutes from Wiscasset, where we frequented Red's Eats (A MUST go to place) and ordered out lobster pizza from Sarah's Cafe. A half hour from Boothbay Harbor and Freeport, both fun places to go. Rushing Tides is a perfect place to get away and relax in Maine! We hope to go back someday!

We appreciated the quick response we received with our TV controller and the installation of a new washer.

We enjoyed sitting on the chairs on the deck in the early morning sun and watching the loons as they dive and reappear distances away, and we loved hearing their calls in the quiet of the night. We spent many afternoons reading under the umbrellas on the deck and having dinner there with our family. It was a very peaceful stay.

This house was by far our favorite rental since we have been coming to the mid-coast. Wonderful large, open spaces and ever-present views of the bay. Great privacy not only from Rte.1 but also the houses on either side. We enjoyed the proximity to Camden without the extra driving we had from Rackliff Island. And the bald eagle that flew low over the deck late every afternoon was a real treat. The water in the house is extremely "soft" from the Culligan treatment making it very slippery in the bathroom. Anti-slip mats would be welcome for the floor and tub.

Every call to On The Water was promptly answered or returned. Friendly staff. Easy process.

We have stayed at On The Water In Maine properties for the past two years, and will continue to stay with them in the future. Their staff is so friendly and great to work with, it makes calling them and booking your vacation a real pleasure.

Perfect combination of classic Maine beach cottage with modern cons. Beautiful views. Open lovely living room with water views. Great for kids, loved turkey flock and deer herd which meander about the property. Roomy enuf for three generations to share comfortably

Enjoyed the house and the property very much. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Enjoyed the views from the property, the firepit, walking on the new dock. Furniture was comfortable, kitchen pretty well stocked. Good location for visiting Damariscotta, Boothbay and Pemaquid.

Hobbs pond has the cleanest water I've ever seen for a pond. It was warm and we could see the bottom! Perfect place to swim and kayak! The house worked well for our family of four.
