Rockcroft offers wide panoramic ocean views of Penobscot Bay. Sitting in an idyllic location 3 miles north of Downtown Camden, 2 minutes from hiking and mountain climbing at Camden Hills State Park, and 3 miles south of Lincolnville Beach.
This contemporary updated home is spacious and comfortable with ocean views from nearly every room. After a day sailing on Penobscot Bay, hiking Mt Battie, or enjoying Camden, Belfast, Rockland and the rest of the Midcoast, come home for a nice meal on the large open deck listening to the waves lap the shore.

Beds will be made up upon arrival and there will be one bath towel and wash cloth per listed occupancy, one hand bath towel per bedroom, one bath mat towel per bathroom, and two kitchen towels in the kitchen. Additional bath towels can be rented.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: No, the owner of this property does not require a security deposit, however, guests are still financially responsible for non-accidental damages at the property.

Rockcroft is beautiful, , and the location right on the water makes it a special place. Tastefully furnished, comfy bed, and very private. The view across the bay to Isleboro was just gorgeous. My wife and I enjoyed every minute spent at the property.

Location, location, location! Our stay could not have been better. The view of the water was outstanding and the seclusion in the woods was wonderful! The sunrises were spectacular and it was fun to watch the dolphin, seal and lobster boats from the deck. The amenities truly met our expectations. Linens were fresh, good quality, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked! The owners did a great job putting the extra touches on their home that they so graciously share with others! Thanks for helping us celebrate our retirement and 46th wedding anniversary!

Comment from On the Water in Maine - This Guest gave our company a 2.5 star rating after her stay this past September. In her comments, she felt that we imposed too many rules and restrictions at the property. While all the over 8 weeks of rentals for 2015 are by repeat guests that stayed at the property in 2014, and none of them shared those feelings with us, and all still are coming back, we are reviewing the presentation of the property information to ensure that all our Guests feel welcome in the property and that too many requests are not made of them. Additionally, the Guest didn't think the property was cleaned to the standards that she should have seen. While the Guest never informed us when she was in residence that any cleaning issues existed, we won't disregard her comments and will ensure that we work harder to make the property clean and up to the standards that all our guests expect from us. Note the 2 Surveys by Guests in October, AFTER this Guest's stay below that are both 5-Star.

We are reviewing and addressing all her concerns to ensure that this 5-star property continues to get 5-star scoring. Everyone hopes for a true Maine experience when booking lodging via the NET. This is it! If the number of beds meets your needs, DO NOT pass on this property. From the dramatic driveway, to the stone fireplace, to the modern well-stocked kitchen, to the huge windows and deck overlooking the sea 20 feet away, to the hot tub, to the heated bathroom floors....remarkable!
