Ginn on the Rocks is a well-appointed quintenssential Maine cottage set just 20 feet back from Crescent Beach in Owls Head. The beach access makes this cottage perfect for small families who are looking to spend all day in the sand.  You can climb over the rocks and down to the sandy beach or take the easy one minute stroll down the road to the public access. The home features all new flooring, a new half bath and some newer furnishings throughout. The open floor plan of the living and dining area with the kitchen makes spending time together a priority while enjoying the spectacular view. This cottage is perfect for a couple or a small family looking to explore the area.

Sit back and relax and enjoy the beach and lobster boats working out front. The back deck is great for picnic lunches or a glass of wine after a relaxing day. The dead-end road the property is located on is nice for walks and biking around Owls Head, exploring the different beaches the town has to offer. A quick drive and you can explore Rockland, Camden, and Thomaston - truly a great location for any adventurer or beachcomber.

BEACH CLASSIFICATION: We have categorized this property as having or being near a sandy beach. More specifically for this property - Crescent Beach can be directly accessed from the property. Two other great area beaches are nearby. The closest is Crockett's Beach, but also Birch Point Beach State Park is within a 5 minute drive of the property.

BOATS INCLUDED? None, however SUP & Kayak Rentals are available in Port Clyde at Port Clyde Kayaks 20 minutes south, or from Maine Sport, 20 minutes north in Rockport.  Both deliver to the property.  Sometimes, if the order is big, Ducktrap Kayaks will deliver as well to this property.   

LINENS & TOWELS: The rental of this property includes all bed linens and towels.  Beds will be made up upon arrival and there will be one bath towel and wash cloth per listed occupancy, one hand bath towel per bedroom, one bath mat towel per bathroom, and two kitchen towels in the kitchen.  Additional bath towels can be rented.

Security Deposit: Not required, however, guest still need to cover non-accidental costs and/or for extra cleaning

Occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each home. Maximum occupancy would include infants and children.

Boat Rentals and other amenities offered through On the Water in Maine Inc. are not available at all the properties we offer for rent. Boat Rentals through Maine Watercraft Rentals Inc. are offered Sunday morning to Friday after 4pm and include free delivery to the property. Check with an agent to find out what boats are available to rent at this property, or, when you process the booking here online, only the boats available for the property will be listed as available to rent.
